From a background in furniture design and a workshop in Stockholm, Christopher Robin Nordstrom has spun his childhood obsessions with both modelling and Japan into his cult Instagram page TokyoBuild, which turns experiences from a formative trip to Japan and views from online maps into completely handcrafted scale models. We join Christopher in his studio as he constructs a garage workshop inspired by our 2023 release, Type 7 Volume 4: Team Ikuzawa Edition, and explore the intricate process involved in making one of his works.
