Type 7

Since 1985 the Amalgam Collection team have developed a reputation in the scale model world for unparalleled quality, creating models that not only accurately represent the fine details of race and road cars, but imbue a sense of soul. No category of their work achieves this more than their race weathered collection, which transfers with archival accuracy the dirt, grime, damage, and marks from hours spent racing. Developed painstakingly by hand over nearly 800 hours, each model becomes a unique piece of art. 

In collaboration with Amalgam Collection, Type 7 have developed a limited edition of 67 examples in homage to the 1967 Porsche 911 R, an era-defining and speed record-breaking ultra lightweight version of the Porsche 911 in 1:18 scale, featuring meticulously handcrafted weathering.
