How Andre’s humble 987 Cayman serves as the stepping stone towards his Carrera GT dream.

“The Cayman was an impulsive purchase” said Andre as we drove through the West Sussex countryside. “The ultimate goal is a Carrera GT, so I’ve included a touch in the Cayman to remind me of that goal,” he explains, pointing to the Carrera GT-inspired shifter knob made of old skate boards.

“For me, it’s not about ticking off dream cars; it’s about the one that makes you want to drive, explore, and share the journey. And for now, that’s the Cayman”. Steadily proving a staple on the British event calendar, Andre is the founder of Legends Drivers Club, hosting events every few months since 2022 that combine classic Porsche meets with unique backdrops all over Southern Britain. Some at castles, film sets, or even just the Goodwood Motor Circuit as a recurring favourite.

Supported by a group of loyal friends, he keeps the grass-roots Porsche community entertained by curating each edition of the Legends Drivers Club meet with a particular focus on location and owner experience.

Being a Porsche owner himself and a creative at heart, Andre maintains an active interest in keeping the car scene feeling fresh year after year, seldom repeating the same format too many times and always looking for new ways to keep the community alive.
