We’ve met many people in the Porsche world who present themselves as purveyors of taste, but none quite fit the description as literally as David Merica. Dave bet it all on the ice cream dream in 2013 when he founded New York’s Davey’s Ice Cream. All these years later his colourful Brooklyn storefront is still going strong, which is no mean feat in this kind of city. Such an achievement deserves to be marked with a little indulgence, and who would know more about that than an ice cream shop owner?

This 911 Turbo was David Merica's gift to himself after ten years of running his New York ice cream shop.
“The 930 Turbo was my dream car growing up. I’ve wanted one ever since, but I kept putting it off because I wanted to feel like I’d earned it. When my small ice cream business reached its tenth anniversary, I finally felt like it was time.”
