Max Bock’s take on why he loves the intentional simplicity of the Cayman GT4.

“I just love everything about it, the Engine, Sound, interior, if you look at all the modern stuff that is out it's so refreshing to sit in a car that only has a steering wheel and Apple CarPlay.”

Ever the analogue hero, the Cayman GT4RS holds a special significance with so many in the evermore complicated landscape of modern cars. By design, it’s unapologetically simple. For Max Bock, it’s the perfect no-frills driver, reserved solely for track days and dedicated road trips, where he can give the car his full attention and treat it as its makers intended.

“I bought a red GT4 3 years ago. That was my first Porsche and the one that made me fall in love with the 718 platform and the brand in general. I knew it had a bigger brother, and I always imagined it would be the perfect car for me. I begged my dealer to buy one and got lucky with this PTS build.

It probably sees the track 2-3 times a year and I take it on road trips too. One of the most unique was being able to take part in Porsche Gipfeltreffen 2025, such a great time and some beautiful roads.”
